Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Cera Care in Oldham.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to start a fulfilling career in care. As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.

You will be part of a leading domiciliary care provider, specialising in offering a wide range of care services that cater to diverse client needs.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is competitive, with pay rates per hour including mileage as follows:

  • Weekdays: £12 per hour
  • Weekends: £12 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour

Mileage is paid at £45p per mile. We also offer flexible shifts, with essential care services available seven days a week from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • No prior experience required, as comprehensive training is provided
  • A clean and valid driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English with strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Care Assistant will include:

  • Providing compassionate personal care to both male and female service users with dignity and respect
  • Safely handling service users and administering medications with accurate record-keeping
  • Fulfilling general duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal preparation
  • Efficiently managing administrative processes and upholding confidentiality and safety standards
