About the Role
Priory Hospital Roehampton is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Outpatient Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering assessments, groups, and individual interventions to support service users with complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and experience working in outpatient settings. A particular interest in DBT and ADOS delivery would be advantageous, but not essential.
You will work closely with the Outpatient Therapy Lead and other members of the psychology service to provide high-quality care and treatment options for our patients. This role offers opportunities for professional development and training, as well as contributing to the development of evidence-based treatment options.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also be involved in planning and developing the outpatient service at Priory Hospital Roehampton, including potential opportunities to develop services at our Wimbledon location.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver high-quality assessments, group, and individual interventions for service users with complex needs.
- To contribute to the development of evidence-based treatment options for patients.
- To work collaboratively with the Outpatient Therapy Lead and other members of the psychology service to ensure seamless care pathways.
- To participate in planning and development of the outpatient service, including opportunities to develop services at our Wimbledon location.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology or related field.
- Clinical experience in mental health settings, particularly in outpatient environments.
- Strong understanding of cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
