Job Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Organize and facilitate play opportunities for individual children and groups, adapting to their unique needs and interests.
  • Develop and implement creative play activities that promote independence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other Play Team members to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to parents and carers, empowering them to engage in play with their child.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and hygienic play environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams, using clear and respectful language.
  • Maintain accurate records of play activities and outcomes, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of our services.
