Job Title: Pediatric Communication Specialist
">About the Role:
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Rotherham.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with SEN staff.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to enhance students' communication skills.
- Monitor, report, and adjust therapy plans based on students' progress and evolving needs.
- Collaborate closely with SENDCO and other staff for seamless support.
- Engage with parents and carers to provide guidance and training on supporting communication development at home.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Strong understanding of SEN and proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- A flexible and student-focused approach to promoting wellbeing and development.
Estimated Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
