Medical Consultant for Neonatal Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Medicine Specialist to join our team at The Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran, Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive Level 3 neonatal unit, providing exceptional care to babies of all gestations. As a consultant, you will be responsible for leading the neonatal intensive care team and contributing to the development of clinical policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate will have expertise in neonatal medicine, with a strong background in research and education. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities- Lead the neonatal intensive care team and develop clinical policies and guidelines.
- Provide expert medical care to patients, including those with complex conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development of research initiatives and educational programs.
- Full registration with the GMC and a license to practice.
- Membership of the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights).
- At least 6 months of post-CCT/CESR(CP) experience.
- Salary: £106,000 to £154,760 per annum (pro rata).
