Job Title: Deputy Technical Project Manager

Are you a motivated engineer with a passion for the technical aspects of large-scale project tenders? Do you have a solid commercial mindset and offshore operational skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Deputy Technical Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure flawless execution of the project.
  • Support the Technical Project Manager in ensuring that technical aspects of the project are delivered on time, to budget, and to the required safety and quality standards.
  • Discuss and align with the Technical Project Manager on which activities/sub-projects within the project to be involved in.
  • Have delegated authority to act on behalf of the Technical Project Manager during internal meetings when the Technical Project Manager is not in attendance.
  • Assist and support in terms of ensuring an understanding of the technical scope within the project team, coordinating technical deliverables, and providing support through all stages of the construction project.
Requirements:
  • Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, Marine, or related) combined with commercial insight/interest.
  • Experience in directing technical negotiations, ideally of heavy machinery, power plant equipment, or similar.
  • Previous experience in wind energy or industrial plant environment would be beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in business English both spoken and written is required; additional Scandinavian or European languages would be an advantage.
  • Flexibility for travel.
