Job Title: Deputy Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Technical Project Manager in ensuring the technical aspects of the project are delivered on time, to budget, and to the required safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Technical Project Manager to ensure flawless execution of the project.
  • Discuss and align with the Technical Project Manager on which activities/sub-projects within the project to be involved in.
  • Have delegated authority to act on behalf of the Technical Project Manager during internal meetings.
  • Assist and support in ensuring an understanding of the technical scope within the project team.
  • Coordinate technical deliverables and provide support through all stages of the construction project.
Requirements:
  • Engineering background (Electrical, Mechanical, Marine or related) combined with commercial insight/interest.
  • Experience in directing technical negotiations, ideally of heavy machinery, power plant equipment or similar.
  • Previous experience in wind energy or industrial plant environment would be beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in business English both spoken and written is required; additional Scandinavian or European languages would be an advantage.
  • Flexibility for travel.
