About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing specialist services to Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Leading on drug validation and configuration for ICCA prescribing system
  • Leading on and developing drug validation and configuration for Meditech Expanse prescribing system
  • Providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters in PICU and NICU
  • Participating in clinical audits and transformation projects

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Clinical Pharmacist who has a strong background in clinical pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have:

MPharm (or equivalent) and registered with the GPhCPostgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent) or willingness to enrolExperience covering PICU/NICU specialtiesExperience in specialist areas: paediatrics, women's health, critical care, cardiology and enteral nutritionExperience in a hospital setting
