Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work on our wards, providing post-surgical care to patients in comfortable private en-suite rooms. You will take patients through their full hospital stay, from admittance to release, ensuring seamless transitions and effective care.

  • You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practice to ensure the best possible outcomes.">
  • You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.">
  • You will maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and families, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.">
  • You will participate in clinical skills training to enhance your skills and knowledge, empowering you to provide effective care for a wide range of specialisms.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current NMC registration with no restrictions on your practice.">
  • General surgical, cardiac, or orthopaedic experience is essential.">
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with excellent patient care skills.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.">
  • Flexibility to work a rotation of days and nights.">
