The Role
We are seeking a Health and Safety Compliance Manager to join our team at undisclosed. As our subject matter expert on health, safety, and wellbeing, you will be responsible for ensuring our compliance with current health and safety legislation. You will lead on developing and maintaining a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across the organisation, providing advice and support to the Health and Safety Committee, and reporting issues and matters to the Committee and the Executive Team.
The Person
To be successful, you will need a NEBOSH Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent, with a strong contemporary knowledge and understanding of the physical and psychological risks of an office working environment. You will need to keep up-to-date with health, safety, and wellbeing legislation and requirements and best practice. A skilled communicator and relationship builder, you will be able to lead change by influencing, negotiating, and encouraging discussion with key stakeholders.
