Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to vulnerable youth aged 7-17 with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). Our Children's Home provides a safe and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is £27,144 - £36,192 per annum, inclusive of sleep-ins. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, free meals and snacks, and flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Providing individualised care and support to young people with SEBD
  • Assisting with daily routines, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Engaging in activities that promote socialisation, education, and personal development

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour or complex needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
