Childhood Development Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Childhood Development Specialist.

This role involves collaborating with the Play Coordinator to deliver engaging lunchtime activities and facilitate play opportunities for children and young people.

Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the Play Coordinator to develop and implement engaging lunchtime activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe play environment by assessing risks daily and implementing necessary changes.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and catering teams to ensure efficient lunchtime operations.
Requirements:
  • A passion for child development and excellent communication skills.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this position is £24,027 (NJC Scale 3 FTE) with an actual salary of £2,797.28.
