Job Description

As a Learning Support Professional at Brook Street Social Care, you will play a vital role in providing learning mentor support to students with diverse needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting students with disabilities, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist teaching staff in implementing detailed assessments and monitoring student progress.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective support strategies are in place.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Travel to various locations as required to attend meetings and team events.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
