Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Practitioner to join our First Response, Screening team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in triaging incoming contacts from members of the public and professionals, applying a robust threshold consistently and making clear recommendations for next actions within 24 hours.
Key Responsibilities- Triage incoming contacts and make recommendations for next actions
- Develop and maintain good relationships with Family Help Triage and partner agencies
- Support staff within the service on complex enquiries and lead and present at development meetings
- Contribute to service performance and the learning and development of individuals and the team

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified Social Worker holding a Social Work degree or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge and application of social work legislation, methodologies and social care policies
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with a wide range of people
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word, and database applications
