Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage and coordinate contract activities, including major subcontract and transactional contracts.
  • Oversee all related Supply Chain activities in line with area of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement activities that deliver on People (Resourcing & Capabilities), Process, Technology & reporting which support the successful delivery of the SC function.
  • Communicate effectively with functional and external stakeholders, and deputise for the SC Senior Manager as required.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals.

Requirements:



  • Supply Chain, Procurement or Project Management experience.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP & PLM Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages.
  • Experience of working within aerospace, defence and/or MOD packages.
  • Previous line management responsibility.

About the Procurement Team:


As a Procurement leader at BAE Systems, you will be deployed to some of our major projects, enabling & empowering the team through the delivery of People, Process, Toolsets & Reporting. This is a Fast-paced, commercial procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK's National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
