Vibe Recruit Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker to join their dynamic tool making team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of all injection moulding and press tools on site.

The successful candidate will demonstrate comprehensive understanding of injection moulding tools, perform routine maintenance, health and safety, and environmental tasks, and ensure the efficient repair and servicing of all moulds, jigs, fixtures, and extruded parts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support tool engineering in achieving all maintenance tasks on tooling.
  • Demonstrate expertise in press / deep drawing tools.
  • Achieve the highest possible standard of polish, on bought-in parts and moulds, to maintain the company's high standard of quality required on all products.

Negotiable salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on industry norms. The role requires a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Toolmaker or completion of a 4-year indentured apprenticeship. City & Guilds or O.N.C in mechanical or electrical engineering would be advantageous.
