Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team in the Tredegar area, working closely with the Toolroom team to maintain and service all injection moulding and press tools on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Tooling engineer in achieving maintenance tasks on tooling
  • Carry out maintenance, health and safety, and environmental tasks such as planned maintenance, predictive maintenance, and autonomous maintenance
  • Update various spreadsheets (weekly maintenance workload, team efficiencies)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A 4-year indentured apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably City & Guilds or O.N.C.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
