About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Toolmaker to join our team in Tredegar. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to work with a well-established company that offers excellent development opportunities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the service and maintenance of all injection moulding and press tools on site, ensuring the highest possible standard of polish and quality required on all products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tool engineering in achieving all maintenance tasks on tooling.
  • Demonstrate understanding on injection moulding tools.
  • Carry out maintenance, health and safety and environmental tasks.
  • Demonstrate understanding of press / deep drawing tools.
  • Responsible for the efficient repair and servicing of all moulds, jigs, fixtures, and extruded parts, to maintain production requirements and standards.
  • Manufacture spare parts, both to drawing and through means of using own initiative, by taking measurements of existing parts and making new ones to the same standard.
