About the Role

As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller at WSP Global Inc., you will be part of our Sustainable Water Management Team, working on a national programme of work focused on flood risk management projects. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering projects that support a broad portfolio of work, including FCERM studies, major infrastructure projects, and strategic studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the direction of projects, working with other disciplines within the water team and overseeing and mentoring junior hydraulic modellers.
  • Deliver and provide technical oversight of projects to provide a range of flood risk management related services for government, local authority, private, and major infrastructure clients.
  • Support the delivery of innovation in our sector, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in hydraulic modelling.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in hydraulic modelling, with a strong understanding of flood risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to work with a range of software and tools, including hydraulic modelling software.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
