About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our innovative and supportive Modelling Team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement hydraulic models using Flood Modeller and Tuflow to assess flood risk and consequences.
  • Conduct flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments, and nutrient neutrality assessments to support our clients' needs.
  • Perform hydrological assessments to inform our flood risk modelling and management strategies.
  • Lead on natural flood management, wetland management, and re-wilding projects to develop innovative solutions for our clients.
  • Produce high-quality flood risk maps and estimates to support our clients' decision-making.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to new team members on flood risk and complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to develop new business opportunities and ensure project delivery to time and budget.
