What you need to succeed:

  • Competency in Flood Modeller Pro, Flood Modeller Pro - TUFLOW linked models, ESTRY-TUFLOW linked models, and HEC-RAS
  • Skilled use of QGIS and ArcMap, and competency in MapInfo
  • Interpreting results from hydraulic models and preparing technical reports
  • Project management/client liaison and mentoring graduates
  • Building complex hydraulic models in InfoWorks ICM
  • Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Strategic Flood Risk Assessments would also be an added advantage
  • Hydrological modelling in WINFAP-FEH (Statistical analysis), ReFH2, and application of other hydrological methods
  • Building large, complex hydraulic models in InfoWorks ICM would be an added advantage
