About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hydraulic modelling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex hydraulic models using Flood Modeller Pro, Flood Modeller Pro - TUFLOW linked models, ESTRY-TUFLOW linked models, and HEC-RAS.
  • Utilize QGIS, ArcMap, and MapInfo to analyze and interpret results from hydraulic models.
  • Prepare technical reports and Flood Risk Assessments, including Strategic Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hydraulic modelling, with a strong understanding of hydrological modelling in WINFAP-FEH, ReFH2, and other hydrological methods.
  • Excellent skills in building complex hydraulic models in InfoWorks ICM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret results and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and project managers.
