About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist - Adult Learning Disability Specialist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and intervention to adults with learning disabilities, as well as providing consultation, training, and supervision to the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological assessment and intervention to adults with learning disabilities
  • Provide consultation, training, and supervision to the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in clinical leadership and service development activities
  • Contribute to the development of the Learning Disability Psychology Specialty

Requirements

  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and their families
  • Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for client's psychological care and treatment
