Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work with individuals with persistent pain and ME/CFS, providing high-quality psychological interventions and contributing to the development of our service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychologist to work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in pain management and ME/CFS, and contribute to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage a caseload of service users with persistent pain and ME/CFS
  • Provide high-quality psychological interventions, including individual and group work
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including the development of new interventions and programs
  • Work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to individuals with persistent pain and ME/CFS
Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychologist with:

Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalentExperience of working with individuals with long-term health conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to ongoing professional developmentWhat We Offer
