Job Title: Clinical Health Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Health Psychologist to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Clinical Health Psychologist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing highly specialized clinical health psychology pathways for patients living with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical health psychology pathways for patients living with cancer
  • Provide highly specialized psychological therapy and assessment for patients with cancer
  • Contribute to the implementation, development, and evaluation of the service
  • Provide supervision in psychological skills to other less experienced psychological practitioners and to health service staff working in the service
  • Contribute to and facilitate a varied training programme for health care professionals
Requirements:
  • Registered with the regulatory body (e.g. Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist)
  • Further training or experience in the specialist field
  • Prepared to undertake a substantial post-qualification training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice
  • Leadership training or qualification
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across a range of care settings
