Job Details

The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurosurgery Specialist to join their team as a Trust Grade professional.

Salary: £61,825 - £70,425 per annum

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inpatient and outpatient services under consultant supervision, contributing to the emergency out of hours rota, supervising daily ward rounds, conducting patient management in line with agreed plans, supporting and teaching junior colleagues, participating in M&M and MDT meetings, and contributing to Quality & Improvement Projects within the department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in neurosurgery, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of neurosurgical procedures
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
