Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Central Edinburgh. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple and complex work assignments, delivering within timeframes, and managing resources to provide exemplary professional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning
    • Develop and implement project management plans, including strategic project structuring and establishing master programmes.
    • Establish and lead project meetings with all project team members and stakeholder groups.
    • Produce project correspondence, ensuring actions are clearly defined and delivered upon by all project team members within agreed timescales.
  2. Managing Risk and Delivering Value
    • Review and comment on design packages to ensure compliance with the project brief.
    • Lead value engineering and risk review workshops, compiling and tracking risk mitigation activities and value engineering opportunities.
    • Assess contractor's claims for delay events, working with commercial team members to establish entitlement.
  3. Project Administration
    • Assess and report on contractor progress and commercial matters during delivery.
    • Assess quality on-site, raising instructions for defect rectification when necessary.
    • Ensure document management and communications protocols are adhered to.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable consultancy project management/construction project management experience in the infrastructure sector (ideally within residential).
  • A knowledge of residential/commercial development would be advantageous.
  • A wealth of project management experience within a senior level role.
  • Ability to manage multiple, various, concurrent, and conflicting projects.
