Senior General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Manager to lead our Operational Team and support regional and tertiary neuroscience services in Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the service strategy, business plan, and key performance and activity targets, including robust financial planning and management.
- Lead the leadership and direct line management of the General Manager and associated operational and performance across the whole Division.
- Ensure comprehensive controls and assurance across all standards and maintain effective systems of integrated governance and risk management within the Division.
- Develop the leadership, managerial, and business capability of staff in the Division to support effective delivery, financial performance, and service improvement.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, including management studies to masters level or above or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience working on both strategic and operational matters.
- Significant NHS/public sector experience and knowledge, including up-to-date knowledge and understanding of NHS systems and policies.
- Demonstrable success in building, leading, motivating, and developing multidisciplinary teams as a highly effective people manager.
- Proven experience of effective performance and budgetary management and control.
- Proven success in business planning and in the development of business cases.
