We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Manager to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality services and driving business improvement across our Head and Neck Care Group.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the service strategy, business plan, and key performance and activity targets, including robust financial planning and management.
- Lead on specific professional projects/topics at a corporate level, as agreed with the relevant Director.
- Ensure comprehensive controls assurance across all standards and maintain effective systems of integrated governance and risk management within the Care Group.
- Develop the leadership, managerial, and business capability of managers in the Care Group to support effective delivery, financial performance, and service improvement.

Requirements- Significant experience working on both strategic and operational matters.
- Significant NHS/public sector experience and knowledge, including up-to-date knowledge and understanding of NHS systems and policies.
- Demonstrable success in building, leading, motivating, and developing multidisciplinary teams as a highly effective people manager.
- Proven experience of effective performance and budgetary management and control.
- Proven success in business planning and in the development of business cases.
- Experience of leadership of complex operational change/project management while also developing and maintaining high standards of quality.
