Job Overview

X4 Technology is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our in-house manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the prototyping, development, and production of our innovative security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock levels of products and components to ensure efficient production runs.
  • Coordinate production runs, including quality control, to meet company standards.
  • Assist hardware engineers with the development and prototype testing of new products.
  • Assemble electronic hardware and test hardware components and finished products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong experience using lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
  • Ability to solder to a high standard and perform thorough production builds.
  • Strong understanding of electronics and ability to fault find to component level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Driving license and access to a vehicle, due to the location of our facility.
