About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical leadership within our Initial Response Service (IRS) team, working closely with medical and non-medical colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership within the IRS Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Work with medical and non-medical colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participate in the Consultant On Call rota, for which additional remuneration is payable
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months
  • AC status or within 3 months
  • Knowledge, skills and experience appropriate to this role
