About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership within our Initial Response Service (IRS) team, working closely with medical and non-medical colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership within the IRS team, working closely with medical and non-medical colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Work with medical and non-medical colleagues as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate on the Consultant On Call rota, providing additional remuneration.
About the Team
The IRS team is responsible for providing initial assessment and referral services for people aged 16 years and over presenting with mental health needs. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be part of a dynamic team working to provide high-quality patient care and support.
