About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Royal Blackburn Hospital. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry, you will play a key role in planning appropriate treatment and intervention for patients on Ribble Ward.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients within a multi-disciplinary team structure. You will also participate in the Consultant On Call rota and contribute to the development of the ward's clinical strategy.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist Register of the GMC or eligible for entry within 6 months. Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician Status are also essential.

We offer a competitive salary, at least SPAs as standard, excellent peer support, and a study leave budget of £3000 over 3 years or £5000 for newly qualified Consultants. You will also have opportunities to be a clinical supervisor, participate in digital leadership, and develop your special interests in a flexible way.
