Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Invoicer to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van Southampton. As a critical part of our Service Team, you will be responsible for ensuring customers receive the best service through efficient, timely, and accurate administration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, invoices, and associated paperwork for all work completed within the company.
- Prepare and submit repair and maintenance claims and warranty claims, ensuring the quality and compliance of all documentation.
- Reconcile manufacturer payments, including acting upon claim discrepancies and management of aged debt.
- Complete regular and documented self-audits to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
- Support the Service Team with effective WIP control.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an automotive service operation or in a comparable role.
- Proven track record in warranty/service contract administration.
- Basic knowledge of trucks, specifically Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
- Understanding of compliance associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of service-relevant applications.
- Basic computer skills as well as general business knowledge.
