We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a young woman with autism spectrum disorder, hypermobility spectrum disorders, dyslexia, severe anxiety, depression, and selective mutism.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a Mental Health Occupational Therapist qualification or trainee experience to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, managing nutritional needs, personal hygiene, and maintaining a home environment.

The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule, own a car with a clean driving license, and possess a Mental Health Occupational Therapist qualification or trainee experience. Basic knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is also essential.

As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in meal preparation, personal care, domestic care, social and leisure activities, and supporting clients to remain independent. You will also receive comprehensive training in safeguarding adults/children, autism/aspergers, and other relevant areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need to undergo a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and complete annual training in GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, Autism, Food Hygiene, and Medication management.
