Survey Support Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Survey Support Engineer to join our team at Fugro. As a key member of our Survey Workshop, you will be responsible for the preparation, testing, and maintenance of positioning equipment, surface and subsea survey equipment, IT equipment, and data acquisition systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Undertake testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment and associated software.
- Maintain quality control test, maintenance, and repair records, ensuring technical and equipment registers are up to date.
- Assist with the mobilization of equipment on-site.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of spares are maintained.
- Provide support to offshore personnel, operations, project managers, and other Fugro entities.
- Continually seek new working methods, technology, and cost reductions to improve performance.
Requirements
- HNC/HND in Electronics/Computer Science.
- Vast experience in electronics fault finding.
- Good knowledge of general PC and network configuration and software.
- Prior experience in a marine survey environment.
- Valid, full UK driving license.
- Based within commuting distance of our Aberdeen office.
