Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking a highly skilled Survey Equipment Specialist to join their Aberdeen office in Bridge of Don. This role plays a crucial part in the clients team, supporting the S&P Asset Manager in managing survey equipment and assets to support various projects effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in survey-related electronic engineering and 2-3 years of hands-on experience with survey equipment installation and sensor interfacing. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe are also essential.

This position offers a competitive salary of around £40,000 per year, as well as excellent benefits such as hybrid working, free on-site parking, and overtime pay eligibility.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the S&P Asset Manager according to department and project needs. This includes coordinating with project teams to plan and ensure continuous utilization of survey-supplied equipment, collaborating with the Survey Workshop Coordinator to maximize asset utilization, and liaising with third-party vendors as needed to supplement asset equipment spreads.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A college/university degree or industry training in survey-related electronic engineering.
  • Basic understanding of offshore survey operations.
  • Familiarity with export regulations.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with survey equipment installation and sensor interfacing.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Experience in an onshore support role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical electronic and mechanical drawings.
