We are seeking a skilled Commercial Accountant to join our Kier Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team on the Hinkley Point C project. This role will involve providing financial and management information to support the site team and reporting to the JV Finance Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and interpret financial reports, including month-end reconciliations and MI/P&L summaries.
  • Assist with CIS and VAT matters, including reconciliations and returns.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce a realistic and robust quarterly forecast, analyzing trading and cash numbers.
  • Maintain a 15-week framework cash flow forecast and influence receipts and payments to maximize the cash balance.
  • Perform regular cost audits, reconciling actual costs with recoverable costs.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant status (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or actively working towards attainment.
  • Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Good understanding of commercial aspects of financial accounting.
  • Effective MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
