Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team at Wincanton. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise and support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts, monitor performance against budget, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and interpret financial reports, including monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, conduct variance analysis, and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and internal control frameworks, identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
- Commercial Insights: Provide commercial acumen and support decision-making across the business.
- Contractual Knowledge: Be knowledgeable of the customer contract held, identify risks and opportunities with the operations team.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Continuously evaluate and improve existing financial processes and systems, identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Qualifications: A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or part-qualified with experience in a related finance role.
- Skills: Excellent customer relationship skills, proven mathematical and modelling skills, advanced knowledge of Excel, drive, energy, and a commitment to creating best practice in the financial spectrum.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and internal control frameworks.
