Job Title: College Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced College Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Supply Register. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure students are engaged in lessons and completing their work as necessary
• Work individually or in small groups with students who require extra assistance
• Assist the class teacher in managing student behaviour
• Assist the class teacher with setting up activities and displays when needed

Requirements:
• Previous experience in an education or childcare role is essential
• Previous experience with SEN is essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references covering the last 2 years of employment

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding when working with students with SEN. You will also possess strong organisational skills and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
