Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Human Resources Officer. As an HR Officer with 5 years of relevant experience, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including recruitment and retention, induction and training, equality, diversity and inclusion, conditions of employment, disciplinary and grievance cases, employee welfare, support and engagement, learning and development, policies, procedures and working practices, and performance and appraisal management and resulting training and development programmes.

  • Recruitment and retention: responsible for managing the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, person specifications, and job adverts.
  • Induction and training: plan and deliver training, including new staff inductions.
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion: develop and implement policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
  • Conditions of employment: manage monthly payroll with the input of an external payroll provider, undertake salary reviews, and manage redundancy programmes if any.
  • Disciplinary and grievance cases: deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
  • Employee welfare, support and engagement: analyse training needs in conjunction with departmental managers, continuous improvement scheme, with trainings and involvement in HR related events to maintain.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of all aspects of Human Resource Management and Administration, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including managers, employees, and external partners.
