About the Role

Mountain Healthcare Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team in Guildford Police Custody Suite.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Paramedic to work in a dynamic and lively environment, providing high-quality care to detainees and their needs.

As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forensic sampling (including road traffic offence bloods)
  • Signposting and conducting referrals; offering support for vulnerabilities and supporting patients to break patterns of re-offending
  • Delivering substance misuse therapies
  • Assessment & care of detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Acute disease management
  • Promoting good personal healthcare
  • Working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs

  • Qualified Registered Nurse or Paramedic
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
