Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to detainees in our custody suites.

About the Role

As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of services, including forensic sampling, substance misuse therapies, and assessment and care of detainees. You will also be responsible for promoting good personal healthcare and working with Liaison and Diversion to identify any mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver forensic sampling services, including road traffic offence bloods
  • Provide substance misuse therapies to detainees
  • Assess and care for detainees and staff in custody suites
  • Promote good personal healthcare practices
  • Work with Liaison and Diversion to identify mental health needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in forensic healthcare, with experience of working in custody suites. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
