About the Role:
This part-time receptionist position provides an exciting opportunity to join our team in a busy healthcare setting. As a key member of the administration team, you will provide excellent support to our clinical colleagues and ensure the smooth running of our surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage patient records and maintain accurate data entry.
  2. Process new patient registrations and handle filing tasks efficiently.
  3. Respond to phone calls and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  4. Arrange appointments for clinical colleagues and manage schedules accordingly.
  5. Securely record messages and maintain confidentiality.
  6. Communicate results to patients and uphold their trust.
  7. Stay up-to-date with practice policies and procedures.
  8. Prepare and issue repeat prescriptions as needed.
  9. Improve technical skills and adapt to changing systems.
  10. Collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
  11. Offer additional support to clinicians and patients when required.

The shift pattern includes afternoons on weekdays, with minimal weekend or bank holiday duties. Overtime opportunities can be discussed in advance. The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 annually.
