Marketing Budget Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Budget Specialist to support our marketing team with budgeting, contract management, and procurement processes. As part of the Marketing Operations team, this person will work with the marketing team to ensure our marketing spend and budget are accurate and will manage the contracting and procurement process.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial processes, business-to-business marketing, and must be able to work collaboratively with our marketing, finance, and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the ongoing management of the marketing budget, ensuring accurate spend tracking across all marketing channels.
  • Process and track marketing-related expenses, including verifying the accuracy of supplier invoices and card payments, ensuring compliance with financial controls and company procedures.
  • Prepare budget reports, summarizing marketing spend, identifying variances, and completing the end of month reconciliations in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Work closely with the marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure budget and spend accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a financial or budget-focused role, preferably within a marketing environment.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify key insights from financial data.
