Job Title: Senior Payroll Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processes across the UK, Europe, and Canada for a 6-9 month assignment which could go permanent for the right individual.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing 9 monthly payrolls, including two in Canada, with payroll services outsourced to ADP. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring payroll accuracy and driving continuous improvement across the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll for the UK, Europe, and Canada, overseeing 9 monthly payrolls (including 2 bi-monthly payrolls in Canada).
  • Collaborate closely with Finance to ensure compliance with local regulations, audit requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Review and improve legacy payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work alongside ADP (outsourced payroll provider), ensuring effective payroll processing and monetary distribution.
  • Drive continuous improvement, partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to deliver optimized payroll solutions.
  • Supervise 1 payroll admin handling transactional tasks.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing international payrolls, particularly within the UK, Europe, and Canada.
  • Strong knowledge of EU payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of process improvement in a payroll function.
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on, standalone role.
  • Strong collaboration with Finance and HR teams.
