Job Title: Digital Forensics Service Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forensics Service Manager to join our team at Police Digital Service. As a key member of our National Management Centre (NMC), you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing digital forensics services across the organisation.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and reporting on digital forensics activities within the NMC;
  • Developing and implementing digital forensics strategies;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive collaboration and improve service delivery;
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the team.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in people management, digital forensics, and stakeholder engagement. You will also have a strong understanding of digital forensics principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior internal and external stakeholders;
  2. Drive collaboration and improvement initiatives across the organisation;
  3. Oversee the development and implementation of digital forensics strategies;
  4. Manage and coordinate digital forensics activities within the NMC;
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to the team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in digital forensics, with a focus on service management;
  • Proven track record of success in leadership and team management roles;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong understanding of digital forensics principles and practices.
