Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior forensic professional to advance within a global network. We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forensics Leader to join our team in London, with the possibility of occasional international travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a global forensic technology team, managing digital evidence collection and analysis, and collaborating with forensic accountants, legal experts, and investigators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forensic Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct digital evidence collection, secure data preservation, and forensic analysis, following strict evidence-handling protocols.
  • Case Documentation & Reporting: Manage and maintain comprehensive case files, producing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead Incident Response: Act as the primary contact for escalation points in cyber incidents requiring forensic expertise.
  • Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Work closely with clients, conduct expert peer reviews, and evaluate cyber claim documentation.
  • Service Development & Team Growth: Participate in developing forensic technology services, contributing to strategic planning and team expansion.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams to integrate and enhance the organisation's service offerings.

Salary Range: £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education Background & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GREM, CCE, ACE, or EnCE are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: 5+ years in IT or cybersecurity roles with expertise in digital investigations, cloud infrastructure, and programming (e.g., Python, Java, .NET, Unix/Linux).
  • Forensic & Cybersecurity Expertise: In-depth understanding of evidence preservation, chain of custody, and digital forensic principles. Experience in cloud technology and knowledge of cyber insurance are advantageous.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience managing a team and engaging effectively with key stakeholders in large enterprise environments, demonstrating strong communication and relationship-building skills.
