Job Overview

JAM Recruitment is seeking a skilled Project Buyer to support the delivery of Highly Regulated manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to identify procurement needs and develop strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Manage export and change control processes with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement site cost reduction initiatives to optimize project budgets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project procurement, with a focus on Highly Regulated environments.
  • Expertise in contract management, including NEC Contracts and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
