Project Buyer Job Description

**About the Role**

JAM Recruitment is seeking a skilled Project Buyer to join their team, specializing in Highly Regulated manufacturing projects. As a Project Buyer, you will report to the Project Buyer Manager and work closely with key stakeholders and engineering teams to provide materials and highlight procurement needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage export and change control with subcontractor and supplier contracts in line with project needs
* Develop and support site cost reduction opportunities
* Work with suppliers to deliver on agreed KPIs
* Collaborate with engineering teams to provide materials and highlight procurement needs

**Requirements**

* Knowledge of project lifecycles and project delivery in Highly Regulated environments
* Expertise in contract terms and conditions using NEC Contracts and ERP systems
* Experience building relationships with suppliers and working to supplier processes
